Windows 10 restore

If it just recently installed updates you should try to uninstall them from the control panel.

If Windows has again some problems which lead to bluescreens or other strange behavior it is recommended to try a restore. Start the commandline with administrative rights and execute the following

sfc /scannow

In the case there are any problems use this to fix them

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Startmenu does not work

If the Startmenu doesn't work anymore it's because the tilesdatabase and/or ShellExperienceHost is corrupt. Some reported this command in Powershell can fix it, but it doesn't work on any system

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
